Getting to Davis
For travelers flying in to Davis, the Davis Airporter offers convenient travel to and from Sacramento Airport.
Yolobus offers regular service to and from surrounding communities, including Sacramento Airport; Solano County's FAST Blue Line doesn't reach the airport, but offers a helpful connection to BART.
Davis is also on the Amtrak Capitol Corridor, offering direct connection to Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area (including BART).
If you're not familiar with Davis, be prepared for heat! We'll be in air-conditioned space for AGS '23, with plenty of refreshments available, but outside temperatures will very likely exceed 95 °F.
Getting Around Davis
For anyone driving to AGS '23, the parking lots closest to the UCD Conference Center are Visitor Parking Lots 1 and 2, and the Gateway parking structure. We strongly recommend checking out the AggiePark app ahead of time, as it is required to park on campus. For those with Disabled placards or license plates, Visitor Parking Lot 1 provides the closest spots.
Unitrans is our fantastic student-run bus system! All bus lines run though either the Silo or Memorial Union terminals; the former is more conveniently-located with regard to the Conference Center and the Graduate Center in Walker Hall.
Davis Community Transit also offers ADA-compliant transportation for qualifying individuals, but do call ahead of time to verify availability.
The ASUCD Bike Barn offers bike rentals conveniently located in central campus.
A variety of car rental services operate in Davis.
...and of course, the usual ride-sharing services are also handy ways to get around town and the area!
Lodging in Davis
To ease the process of finding a space during your visit, AGS has reserved a block of rooms at the campus Hyatt Place Hotel, which are available at a discounted rate for AGS visitors. This is the closest hotel to the UC Davis Conference Center, at just a tenth of a mile away. To make use of this rate, you can reference the 2023 AGS Conference when calling to reserve a room at the Hyatt, or use this link to book through their website! The last day to register with the discounted rate is August 1st.
