Work authorization for international students is a difficult area to navigate due to many complex scenarios and regulations. After a brief introduction to SISS, how to access our services, and our core values, this workshop will describe different aspects of work authorization benefits and red flags to look out for through three case studies. While we do not expect anyone outside of SISS to be giving regulatory advice, it is important that our campus partners recognize complex situations, understand when to stop and ask questions, and when to refer to our office.
