Earning a graduate degree may feel like a solo endeavor, but student success can be strongly influenced by a graduate student's sense of belonging. This session will suggest strategies for building a strong community of graduate students, as well as techniques for fostering relationships between students and faculty. We will examine best practices for student engagement, support, and connection to campus resources. Additionally, we will discuss the graduate program coordinator's role in creating inclusive spaces, communication, and events. Attendees will be encouraged to share their own experiences and collaborate with peers during the session.
