Sara Sanchez, UCSC GANAS Graduate Program Director

Sara (she/her/ellla) spearheads the efforts for the UC Santa Cruz GANAS Graduate Pathways grant to identify and overcome institutional barriers that impede Latinx graduate student preparation, retention, advancement to candidacy, and completion with an overall goal of serving the entire graduate student community. Sara has over a decade of knowledge pertaining to student affairs, advising, project management, student outreach and advocacy, all for primarily underrepresented student populations. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish from CSU, Long Beach, and Master of Arts in Educational Administration - Student Affairs from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
